CodiLime is a software and network engineering industry expert and the first-choice service partner for top global networking hardware providers, software providers and telecoms. We create proofs-of-concept, help our clients build new products, nurture existing ones and provide services in production environments. The project and the team

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer, who will help us with projects happening internally in the company, as part of the bigger team divided into smaller groups working in given areas of expertise.
You will also guide the development of people, supporting them to grow their competence, as a member of Devops Competency Center. You will work with a community of various engineers who collaborate closely with each other.

• We use Agile methodology.

• Our tech stack is open, so you can influence project decisions if you join early.

• We work on multiple interesting projects at a time, so we may invite you to an interview for an external project if we see that your competencies and profile are well suited for it.

Your role

As a part of the team, you will be responsible for part of the requirements listed below:

• Design, development, and maintenance of services in the cloud

• Developing automation for deployments on the public clouds as well as on premise

• Developing CI/CD pipelines

• Help with developing automated testing

• Implementing new networking solutions

• Designing a metrics and logs aggregation solution

• Writing documentation for the designed solutions

• Implementing system related tasks: server installation and configuration

• Taking part in technical design discussions

• Supporting teammates

Do we have a match?

As a DevOps Engineer you must meet most of the following criteria:

• Experience in managing at least one of cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure)

• Knowledge of automation and CI/CD tools (for example: Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Circle CI, Terraform)

• Knowledge of virtualization

• Good knowledge of Git

• Good knowledge of Linux OS

• Knowledge of Kubernetes and/or Docker

• Knowledge of Bash and/or Python

• Adequate communication skills, English (min. B2 level), ability to confront technical solutions with the team
  
  Beyond the criteria above, we would appreciate the nice-to-haves:

• Knowledge of networks (VPN, SDN, routing), experience in network troubleshooting
