The project and the team

The project involves building an orchestration engine to build a dynamic L2/L3 network for data centers which use the bare-metal-as-a-service approach and are connected privately to major public clouds.

What else you should know:

  • The team consists of a project manager, back-end developers, and a DevOps engineer

  • We use Agile methodology and have a DevOps culture

  • Our tech stack for the project includes: Go, Kubernetes, Argo, GitHub with GitHub Actions/Buildkite, Helm, CockroachDB

  • The client is based in the US

Your role

As a part of the project team, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing new functionalities using an Agile approach

  • Taking part in technical design discussions

  • Delivering automatic tests for your code

  • Validating the solution with the client (demo)

  • Fixing discovered bugs efficiently and effectively

  • Supporting teammates

Do we have a match? 

As a Software Engineer, you must meet the following criteria:

  • At least intermediate knowledge of Go language providing you excel in C++/Python or just excellent knowledge of Go language

  • Experience in testing your code automatically (unit/functional/regression tests)

  • Good knowledge of Git and Linux

  • Good communication skills,

  • English (B2 level),

  • ability to confront technical solutions with the team and the customer's technical representatives, to validate the solution with the client

Beyond the criteria above, we would appreciate : 

  • Experience with configuring Nokia or Juniper switches

  • Experience with gNMI, NETCONF protocols

  • Experience with microservice architecture
