Project and Team

We are looking for a highly qualified manager to help our teams achieve their goals. The project is not homogenous, it comprises multiple streams, varying from development to delivery.

The heart of the project is security. Together with our client, a global leader in cybersecurity, we work to deliver projects and solutions to increase internal efficiency and provide services to organizations around the world.

The team is international and multicultural, spread across the world. The project team consists of highly qualified Network, DevOps, and Software Engineers.

Your role

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a cybersecurity project. You need to have a solid technical background and demonstrate deep understanding of the domain, as well as have some experience in network automation or software development. You will be responsible for the successful delivery and maintaining the current growth rate of the project. Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring that the project execution is running smoothly by removing any obstacles and aligning stakeholders' expectations
• Collaborating daily with client-side Solution Leads to identify needs and opportunities within the project
• Supporting other managers already involved in the project by providing feedback and best practices
• Facilitating and actively participating in project roadmap discussions, also at a technical level
• Managing staff and team expansion activities
• Visiting the Client several times a year (both in Europe and the US)
• Identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities

Do we have a match?

As an Engineering Manager, you must meet the following criteria:

• Minimum 7 years in the position of Engineering Manager, Technical Manager or similar position with responsibility of project management for both T&M and fixed-price projects
• Experience in managing network automation/software development projects
• Managing and building a team of 30+ people delivering a complex project
• Hands-on experience (3-4 years) as a Software/Network/DevOps Engineer working in Operations in a customer-facing environment
• Willingness to work flexible hours (EMEA & US time zone) in a multicultural environment
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and oral (minimum C1 level)
