The project and the team
We seek a creative back-end engineer to join our team, build a user-facing application in the networking area, and drive it to wide market adoption. The team comprises the Engineering Manager, UX designers, back-end, front-end, network and QA engineers.
Other things to know:
- We are a self-sufficient team
- Our point of contact is a Product Owner on the client's side
- The team is located worldwide
- The client's representatives are located on the East coasts of the US
- We use Agile framework
We work on multiple interesting projects at the time, so it may happen that we’ll invite you to the interview for another project, if we see that your competencies and profile are well suited for it.
Your role
As a part of the project team, you will be responsible for:
- Working in project specific framework and collaborating with the rest of the team (product managers, UX designers, front-end developers, QA engineers)
- Propose new solutions and drive improvement
- Implementing new features and extending/improving existing ones
- Follow testing methodology
Do we have a match?
As an Intern/Junior Software Engineer, you must meet the following criteria:
- Basic knowledge of Python
- Basic knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming
- Practical Git knowledge
- Basic computer networks knowledge
- English (B2+ Level) for everyday conversations and knowledge sharing
Beyond the criteria above, we would appreciate:
- Knowledge of Docker
- Practical knowledge of Linux
- Ability to collaborate in distributed teams
